Smart Card based Prepayment Electricity Meter designed to give the Power Utility Total Control and Ownership of the system, which is of significant importance to the power utility. It is a two way system, which would give data of purchase as well as consumption patterns, giving important statistical data for the utility. Prepaid meters are mechanical and electrical anti-tamper, four level programmable tariff, gas filled and polycarbonate and fire retardant base.
